The opportunity to collaborate stems from the climate goals previously set out by the United Nations as part of the Sustainable Development Goals; the Scottish tartan by the US social enterprise Liberation Kilt has also raised concerns about climate change. In this context, students from both universities collaborated on relevant research and design.
